Walking Basketball is back and booming for Term One!
Walking basketball tipped off last night with a 200% increase in teams registered for this year.
Game results were varied with two games only a basket apart. While others ran off (not literally) with the ball to get a few points on the board.
It was great to see so many people of all ages and abilities enjoying the sport and getting competitive while walking.
So come down next week to see our Savages, Tarantulas, Golden Card Warriors, Barely Walking, Huli Hoopers, Halswell Hummers, Mutha Wakas and the Woldies walk it out on the court. Walking basketball is certainly not as tame as the name suggests!
