Open for all Canterbury U16 and U19 club and school players interested in developing inline with CBA’s style of play

The Mainlands Programme are for athletes that are not currently on a CBA representative team traveling to a national tournament (reserves on these teams are eligible to trial) and are committed to developing in line with the CBA style of play.

U16 (turning 14 or 15 in 2024) and U19 (turning 16, 17 or 18 in 2024) teams will be selected in both genders to compete July 12-14th in the 2024 Mainlands Tournament @ Selwyn Sports Center. Team numbers are below based on projected growth from 2024 numbers:

Trial and Programme Details:

Trials, Sunday June 9th:
- U16 Girls 1130am-1pm @ St Thomas’ (Note: CBA will manage draw to ensure no clashes with club games)
- U19 Women 10am-1130am @ St Thomas’
- U16 Boys 10am-noon @ Shirley
- U19 Men 130pm-330pm @ Shirley
3 Practices prior to tournament June 16th, June 23rd and July 7th:
- U16 Girls 1130am-1pm @ St Thomas’ (Note: CBA will manage draw to ensure no clashes with club games)
- U19 Women 10am-1130am @ St Thomas’
- U16 Boys 10am-noon @ Shirley

The Mainland Regional Tournament is being hosted at Selwyn Sport Center July 13th, 14th and 15th.
