The Canterbury Metro Representative trials are for boys and girls basketball players in the Christchurch (Metro) and Selwyn area, who are Under 15 or Under 17 as of December 31st, 2018. The trials will be used to select up to four Metro teams to play in the Canterbury Regional Selection Tournament on April 14th and 15th in Christchurch.
