Bench Duty– please ensure your appointed scorebench personnel show up on time (at least five minutes before the game they are on is scheduled to start). One team was 15 minutes late this past weekend, which affected all three courts at the venue later in the day (as referees were now playing on this court which was running late). $250 is the fine amount that can be levied for teams that fail to fulfil their obligations (including providing a bench referee when asked). Floor Controllers have other responsibilities throughout the venue, so should not be asked if they can “help” to cover scorebench

BBNZ U19 Nationals – Volunteers are still needed by our friends up in North Canterbury to cover scorebench for this tournament. If you are able to help on any of the days over King’s Birthday (Friday – Monday) – which is a weekend with NO club basketball scheduled, please fill in this form
