It is the last week of term and second to last round of regular season. This is where it counts and teams need to leave it all on the court.
We head into the final week of term and the second to last scheduled week of regular season for most grades.
Lincoln University Thomson Trophy Div One
An exciting night for Rolleston as they host Cashmere for their first on campus game, with the opening of their school gymnasium. This game could determine their placing at end of the regular season through a head to result with both teams even points wise. Cashmere should take the win with their top 8 experience. But a home crowd certainly won’t disadvantage Rolleston.
Next up Downson Cup holders Christ’s College take on St Thomas. I think it is safe to say Christ’s are likely to remain the cup holders for the remainder of the season.
Then we have the Spartans taking on the Ducks aka Rangiora. This will be a close match and could go either way. But knowing Shirley’s home game support, that should empower them for a win.
The last top 8 match up between St Bede’s and St Andrew’s has been deferred until 25th July.

Firstly we have top of the table St Andrew’s taking on St Margaret’s who are once again minus NZ rep Evie. St Andrew’s seem to just be unstoppable at this point.
Next we have Kaiapoi hosting a weakened CGHS, who are minus a few players through sickness today.
Lastly, we have the Rangiora vs Cashmere match up no longer taking place tonight. Unfortunate for both teams as Cashmere will be feeling strong after a win last week.
