4-5 May Draw 2024

11-12 May Draw 2024

18-19 May Draw 2024

25-26 May Draw 2024

Notes for this week:

  • First Aid – a reminder that teams need basic First Aid equipment in their gear bag (including ice spray, or snap ice bags, and we advise you to have a few mouthguards too (if you have a 20U, or younger, team)
  • Mouthguards – the CBA were made aware that some players had not sorted a mouthguard out for week one. If a player is in a 20U grade or below (or under the age of 18) they need to wear a mouthguard correctly while playing
  • Junior Grade Guide – With our 15U and 16U teams starting this week, now is the ideal time to make sure your coaches and teams understand how each grade is run. This is on our website here
  • #TeamRef – In conjunction with the above, make sure your coaches are aware of their responsibilities in regards to referee interaction (if in doubt – don’t interact with our young referees!). For junior referees, coaches should not be talking/questioning (even in a polite manner)
  • Scorebench Duty – Most B17 and M20 teams last week were well prepared with their attached person doing duty on their own game. With B15 and G16 grades starting up this week, a reminder that these grades also need one person from each team on scorebench (for their own game), while the “duty team” will provide the third and fourth person. Quick Video Guides are on our website

  • Plays of the Week – if something worthy of consideration for the plays of the week happens in your game (and is videoed, either on Glory league, or if you have the video file) please send them in to james@canterbury.basketball to see if the play is makes it in that week!
