Walking Basketball is a fun, low‑impact, and inclusive variation of traditional basketball designed for people of all abilities and fitness levels. As the name suggests, players walk instead of run, and jumping is not allowed, making the game accessible, social, and safe — while still providing a surprisingly good workout!
The environment is friendly, welcoming, and open to anyone aged 12 and older, making it an activity families can enjoy together. While some sessions include light competition, the emphasis is always on participation, enjoyment, and staying active. Don’t be fooled by the slower pace — you will still break a sweat and have plenty of fun along the way!
Perfect for those who enjoy structured games with a touch of friendly competition. Teams play in a welcoming environment where the focus remains on fun, teamwork, and participation. A great way to stay active on a weeknight!

Walking Basketball offers a wide range of benefits for players of all ages and abilities:
Enjoy a full‑body workout without the high impact of running or jumping. It’s a great way to improve fitness, mobility, and coordination.
Play alongside family members or meet new people in a positive, community‑focused environment. It’s a sport that brings people together.
Whether you’re brand new to basketball or a returning player, Walking Basketball lets you enjoy the game at your own pace. No pressure — just fun, movement, and good company.

To ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for everyone, Walking Basketball follows a set of simple rules:
Players must keep one foot on the ground at all times. Jogging or running results in a 1‑minute “sin‑bin” penalty.
Jumping — whether for rebounds, shooting, or blocking — is not permitted.
Games are played in two 20‑minute halves with a short 2‑minute halftime break.
A size 6 basketball is used for all sessions.
Teams consist of 6–8 players, with five on the court at a time.
