Inclusion League Wraps Up Term 2 – Term 3 Starts July 25!
Our Aquapro Inclusion League has wrapped up another fantastic term!
Term 2 saw six teams take the court every Friday afternoon, with players showing incredible sportsmanship, teamwork, and aroha throughout the season. From high-fives to buzzer-beaters, the energy on court was nothing short of inspiring. It’s been especially heartwarming to see our values of Noho Tahi (Unity), Aroha (Respect), Kotahitanga (Togetherness) and Manaakitanga (Care for Others) play out in real-time—whether it’s encouraging a teammate or giving space to others who need a little extra support.
We trialled some new inclusivity initiatives this term, including using yellow balls for players with low vision and an armband system to support players who benefit from more space on court. The feedback has been positive, and we’ll continue to build on these in Term 3.
Brackenridge Ballers wrapped up their time on court and will return in 2026! Their team shirts that they used in the last game were off the hook! We look forward to seeing you next year!

Looking ahead:
Term 3 kicks off on Friday, July 25 and runs for 9 weeks, with the final round on Friday, September 19. Games begin from 4:00 PM each Friday.
And here’s where you come in—we’re looking for 4 more players to help form a second Pioneer Panthers team! If you or someone you know would like to join the league, this is a great time to get involved. All abilities are welcome, and the focus is on fun, connection, and giving everyone a go.
