Karin Berrysmith will be running a course for all developing basketball referees, which will help immensely in terms of both development, and general game management
This course is aimed at referees keen on progressing along the referee pathway, or those who regularly referee in Association competitions. Effectively for any referee who is regularly refereeing in our 15U competitions or above. The course is practical and situational and will add to your skills around game management.
The course will be run by Karin Berrysmith, who is currently with Albury Basketball in Australia. Karin has worked previously with Fiba Oceania; Canterbury Basketball; Basketball ACT, and was Basketball Victoria’s Country Referee Development Officer. She holds “Level Three Referee”, and “Level Three Referee Coach” accreditations and is a Cert IV in training and assessment.
