Senior Finals Draw – 31 August 2024
We’re now in the final stage of the 2024 CBA Winter Club Season, with about half of our grades finishing up this weekend (and the majority of teams finishing their season last weekend).
There have been a few changes to the draft draw (most notably moving the B17A Final up, and a M23 game back, and swapping the G13 and G16 final times) – this has been done to try and maximise the time between games for players whose teams have qualified to play this week, and more importantly, allow coaches to be at the games of those same teams!)
First Team Awards – For our A, or single, Grade Finals, we will have the First team Award winners presented at half time of that particular grade’s grand final. The First team players have now started being announced on our social media
Own Duty – as we should have all referee slots coved this weekend, all games are “Own Duty” – which means two non-players/coaches will be needed from each team to fulfil the scorebench requirements
Grand Finals Week – Junior Finals Day tips us off, but we also have the Lincoln University Thomson and Whelan Grand Finals (Division II on Monday 26 August, and Division I the day after) at Cowles Stadium, before our Senior Club season wraps up on August 31
Draft Draw – the August 31 timeslots are still drafts at this stage. All slots will be confirmed as soon as possible after the senior grand finalists get decided this weekend
