This information has been sent out to all our weekend club basketball contacts this week, ahead of round waru

6-7 July Draw 2024

We’re back to a more regular draw this Matariki weekend, with all grades in action, and our “normal” venues being used

  • July 13/14 – There is no club basketball scheduled for the middle week of the school holidays. You can see the planned weeks of play here
  • July 20/21 – We will work to get this draw out early next week (after results come in this week for our sub-grades) – we may even be in a position to know what playoff game the Rams will be hosting by Monday (I hope!)

  • Jewellery – Remember that this is a safety hazard, so necklaces, bracelets etc cannot be worn in our games. Rule 4.4.2 in the FIBA Rulebook clarifies this (though we have exceptions regarding colour)
  • Coaches on Glory League – To make sure a coach is on the iPad for each game, the process is slightly different than for a player:
    • Coach registers to the School/Club as a “Coach” (not a player)
    • Club/School GameDay Administrator adds the person in question as a Coach (or Assistant) on the “Team Staff” tab for that particular team
