Canterbury Basketball Association’s Men’s Tupu program is a competitive bridge between representative basketball and high-performance teams. It aims to provide committed players with an option to stay engaged in highly competitive national competitions after rep basketball.

Led by Head Coach Phil Burns and Assistant Coach Nate Hyde, trials will be held on Wednesday, September 4th, and Friday, September 6th, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at St Andrew’s College.

There are no age restrictions for trials; however, to be eligible, players must not have played more than 10 minutes per game in the 2024 NBL season.

CBA believes in the importance of this program and is heavily subsidizing all players’ fees. The cost for the entire program, including nationals and qualifiers, is $350 per player.

Please ensure you read the comprehensive program information before registering for trials.

For selected players, practices will continue at the same time and venue each week: Wednesday and Friday, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at St Andrew’s College.

If you have any questions, please ensure you’ve read the program details and FAQs, then reach out to Program Director Benjamin Constable at Ben@Canterbury.Basketball
