Coach Connection Forum – Term 1, 2025

The Coach Connection Forum is back! This three-session event is designed to help Rep, Club, and High School coaches strengthen their skills while welcoming new and aspiring coaches into our basketball community.

  • Sessions 1 & 2: Christ’s College (20 & 27th Feb)
  • Session 3: Cowles Stadium (6th March)

What to Expect

Sessions 1 & 2 – Courtside Learning

Thursday, 20th Feb & 27th Feb | 6PM – 9PM @ Christ’s College

  • 6PM: Coaches’ meeting with Judd Flavell or Quinn Clinton to explore the Rams’ pre-practice “Vitamins Process”.
  • 7PM: Practice observation with insights from coach developers.
  • Stay as long as you like—learning and connection come first!

Session 3 – Coach Development & Mentorship

Thursday, 6th of March | 6PM @ Cowles Stadium

  • Led by BBNZ National Development Manager Garratt Williamson
  • Learn the art of mentoring and what great coach development looks like.
  • Whether you’re experienced or new, you’ll take away valuable insights!

Special Female Coaches’ Meet-Up!

After the 27th of Feb and 6th of March Coach Connection with the bigger group, all female coaches are invited to connect, share, and grow together in an exclusive women’s coaching meet-up. This is a great chance to network, support each other, and build a strong community of female coaches.
