We are into the second half of the regular season. It is the home stretch until the playoffs.
We are now over the halfway point of our regular season games now. This is the final stretch until the build up to finals night.
Lincoln University Thomson Trophy Division One
We have one deferred game from tonight to be played later on between St Andrew’s and Cashmere.
We have some match ups promising entertainment tonight, first up Christ’s College and St Bede’s. St Bede’s could cause upset, but seeing Christ’s comeback last week my money is on them. The Dowson Cup is in play after St Bede’s took it off Cashmere last week.
Next, we have Shirley travelling to Selwyn to take on Rolleston College. This is Rolleston’s last game at Selwyn Sports Centre before their gym opens. I think Shirley will take the win.
St Thomas are taking on Rangiora, which again could be an eventful match. Rangiora will look to and should manage to beat St Thomas tonight.
In our bottom 8 we have another few good match ups.
Kaiapoi vs Riccarton. Both teams are looking for their first wins in the comp.
Burnside vs Ashburton.
Hillmorton vs CBHS.

CGHS vs Rangiora looks to be a grudge match after Rangiora narrowly lost to CGHS in the first. Who will want it more tonight? I am backing CGHS.
Kaiapoi vs St Margarets. Kaiapoi have been strong this season, and I do not see that changing tonight.
