Week seven is full steam ahead with all games being played, plus Thomson Division Two fighting for a top four spot.

The Division Two boys are fighting to secure top 4 placement, while our other grades continue their rounds with just a few weeks until finals.

Lincoln University Thomson Division One

Top 8

Cashmere host St Thomas at a slightly earlier tip off of 7pm. St Thomas have started clawing their way back into finals contention, after their win over Rangiora last week, that momentum should carry them to another win tonight.

It’s North vs South tonight as Rangiora host Rolleston. Rangiora’s top 8 experience should carry them to a win tonight.

We’ve also got a battle of the Northern Boys schools as Shirley host St Bede’s. St Bede’s the better of the two teams comparing to their matches against Christ’s. So, they will look to prove this tonight. Regardless this should be a great match.

Lastly the unbeaten Christ’s College take on St Andrew’s. Although missing a key player Christ’s have shown they can still win. So tonight, should not be any different, especially with the Dowson cup on the line.

Bottom 7

Riccarton vs Hillmorton

Middleton vs Kaiapoi

Burnside vs CBHS

Last week’s pick’s 3/6

Lincoln University Thomson Division Two

This grade splits after tonight’s games into top and bottom four.

Hagley vs Darfield

Hornby vs Papanui

Lincoln vs Oxford

RNLS vs Cathedral College

Last week’s picks 3/3

Lincoln University Whelan Division One

First up our two Northern Whelan teams fight it out with Rangiora taking on Kaiapoi and looking to utilize their home court advantage. But I think the away team will still take the win.

Next up the unbeaten St Andrew’s take on CGHS. The STAC girls will undoubtedly carry this streak on.

Lastly St Margarets (without their NZ Junior Tall Fern Evie) will take on Cashmere. This could be a close battle, and Cashmere could surprise us tonight. St Margarets would still be the pick.

Last week’s picks 2/2

Lincoln University Whelan Division Two

Middleton vs Ashburton

RNLS vs Rolleston

Avonside vs Hagley

Villa vs Hillmorton
