2024 Horomaka Classic Social Basketball Tournament

Dave Langrell is running a fundraising tournament to help Hillmorton High Basketball

The 2024 edition of The Horomaka Classic Social Basketball tournament, sponsored by Accessman City will be held the weekend of November 23rd and 24th November.

All Proceeds from the tournament will go directly to supporting the Hillmorton High School Basketball Programme. Last year $7800 was raised, and they’re hoping to beat that figure in 2024!

  • Venue – Hillmorton High School Gyms (new and old gyms used)
  • Cost – $450 per team for Men’s Teams, $350 for High School Teams
  • Teams are guaranteed a minimum of five games
  • Games will be between 8:30am and 6:30pm on Saturday and Sunday
  • Games are 40-minute running clock

There will be four Divisions offered:

  • Men’s Gold – Club standard players and top-level social teams
  • Men’s Silver – Decent level social teams
  • Men’s Bronze – Social level team in it for the enjoyment
  • High School Boys’ Grade

Over twenty teams competed in this tournament in each of the last three years.
