We’re excited to announce that the Term 1 2025 Coaches Connection Forum will again be at the Canterbury Rams practice.
Running Friday Feb 20th and 27th at Christ College with the final (3rd session) session being lead by Basketball New Zealand’s National Development Manager Garratt Williamson, the Coach Connection Forum aims to build connection and accelerate learning for our communities Rep, Club and High School coaches, AND bring new and aspiring coaches into the fold of the community.

Session 1: Thursday, 20th February @ Christ College; Session 2: Thursday, 27th February @ Christ College:
6pm Coaches meeting lead by Judd Flavell or Quinn Clinton where we learn about Rams pre-practice “Vitamins process” followed by 7pm practice observation. In respect for coaches time we understand if coaches must leave prior to the 9pm practice finish time. That’s fine! It’s all about the learning and connection.
Session 3: Thursday March 4th 6pm @ Cowles Stadium:
Lead by BBNZ National Development Manager, this session will introduce and expand on the art of mentoring and coach development. If you don’t know what great coach development looks like, this is a must, if you do, you’ll still get allot out of this!

There is no cost at all for coaches to attend.
The term 1 CCF is is focused on coaches connecting and upskilling in a positive environment.
Session 1 and 2:
6pm – 7pm Vitamins
7pm – 9pm Practice observation with support of coach developers
Session 3:
Introduction to the Coach Developer role. Learning how to mentor, develop and support other coaches.
