Six teams in the Aquapro Inclusion League!
Aquapro Inclusion League Is Off to a Great Start!
The Aquapro Inclusion League has tipped off for Term 2, and what an exciting start it’s been! Now in its second season, the league has grown to include six teams: Pitau Allenvale All Stars, Pioneer Panthers, Papanui, TIMA White, TIMA Black, and the Brackenridge Ballers.
The energy on court has been incredible, with players showing up each week ready to play, support one another, and have fun. Our referees have been outstanding, creating a positive and encouraging environment for all athletes to shine.
Week 2 brought a splash of colour as players wore pink in support of Pink Shirt Day, standing together to promote kindness, inclusion, and taking a stand against bullying. It was inspiring to see the values of the Inclusion League—manaakitanga, kotahitanga, noho tahi, and aroha—reflected both on and off the court.
We’re looking forward to a full and fun season ahead, with seven games this term and another seven in Term 3. Thank you to all our teams, whānau, referees, and volunteers for making this such a vibrant and inclusive space for everyone involved.
