The CBA are pleased to confirm that the current Canterbury Basketball Association Board Chair, James Pullar, has recently been appointed to the BBNZ board
James Pullar’s appointment will take place effectively after the BBNZ AGM in late May.
This is an exciting time for Basketball in New Zealand and especially for us here in Canterbury and the wider South Island.
The Canterbury basketball Association will continue with the elected board role at the AGM. We will then go through the formal process to have an appointed board member for the CBA after the AGM. More details on this important subject and the recruitment process will come out separately. The CBA will then also appoint a new Board Chair.
Today we celebrate the appointment of James to the BBNZ board and look forward to his input at such an exciting time for Basketball!
