2025’s Rep Readiness Camp will be co-lead by Canterbury Rams coaching staff

Registrations for Rep Readiness Camp (RRC) 2025 are open – Register here.

The RRC is for players interested in playing representative or mainland basketball at the U16, U18 or U20 level in 2025. As such, players must be born between 2006 and 2011 to be eligible to register.

Location:

Cowles Stadium (Hillmorton High School is the backup if Cowles renovations not completed)

Dates:

U16 U18 Boys – Wednesday 22nd January and Friday 24th January

U20 Boys – Wednesday 22nd January, Thursday 23rd January and Friday 24th January

U16 U18 U20 Girls: Thursday 23rd January and Friday 24th January

Cost

$130 per player paid on registration.

Of special note for the 2025 rep programme is the expansion of the mainland’s programme which can be found here. Mainlands teams will be immediately selected following the rep trial Feb 23rd and March 2nd. They will train in parallel with the rep teams and play an additional “blitz” tournament ontop of the established mainlands programme in June/July. Please be aware to participate in mainlands, you MUST attend these trials. The rep readiness camp will prepare all players of all levels for these trials.

Significant changes to the 2025 programmes include:

  1. Expansion of the U16 and U19 Mainlands programme to include programming in March post rep trials. This means coaches in mainlands will play a more significant role at rep trials and programming.
  2. Only 2 boys and 2 girls teams traveling to the U14 Regional Tournament in October due to tournament being moved from Ashburton to Invercargill.
