New Shooting Factory Open For Registration

Canterbury Basketball Association is excited to launch the Shooting Factory in partnership with 2025 Coach of the Year Adam Morgan and the Institute of Hoops.

   Shooting is the single most important skill in basketball, and our vision is simple: to help make our players the best shooters in the country.

The Shooting Factory is a dedicated shooting development programme designed to build elite shooting mechanics, consistency, confidence, and game-transfer through thousands of purposeful repetitions under expert coaching. Every session is built around developing players who can shoot under pressure and perform when it matters most.

 


Programme Overview

The Shooting Factory is a 7-week morning programme, delivered once per week throughout Term 3.

Programme Structure

  • 7 consecutive weeks
  • Thursdays
  • 30 July – 10 September 2026
  • 6:30am – 7:45am

Development Focus

The Shooting Factory is designed for players who want to become elite shooters through deliberate practice and high-quality coaching.

Players will develop:

  • Shooting mechanics and consistency
  • Footwork into the shot
  • Catch-and-shoot and off-the-dribble shooting
  • Game-speed shooting under pressure
  • Shot preparation and decision-making
  • Confidence through high-volume, purposeful repetition

Every session combines technical instruction with game-realistic drills designed to transfer directly into competition.
