Tall Blacks vs Jordan

The Tall Blacks are coming to Christchurch in November – here is everything you need to know

The last Tall Blacks FIBA World Cup Qualifying home-games are fast approaching (the Tall Blacks host Jordan here in Christchurch on 29 November) and we’re offering members of our Associations discounted tickets! Our members can purchase their tickets now using this link and receive a 10% discount.

For more information go to TallBlacks.basketball

TALL BLACKS NOISE CREWS: the Tall Blacks want our local support to help make the atmosphere rocking at their game, and we are looking to recruit some noise crews to receive free tickets to the game! To be included in the running for some tickets you need to:

  • Have a group of 10-20 people involved
  • All be wearing a consistent theme of dress (not necessarily all identical)
  • Submit a 20-30 second clip of your crew doing: “Defence Chant”; “Let’s Go Tall Blacks”; and a third chant of your crew’s choice (i.e. 7-10 seconds of each chant)
  • Have a Chant leader who will organise the crew on the night and video
  • Final date for entries to be submitted is 12pm Thursday 15 November 2018
  • Submit your entries via the CBA facebook page, or email a link to your video to james@canterbury.basketball
  • The amount of tickets we can give out depends on the quality of entries received, but we anticipate being able to guarantee 80 will be available. Successful crews may see their chant entry videos on the Jumbotron during the pre-game on the night too.
