Weekend Draw Info – 20/21 June 2020

If you’re not on the draw email list, but want to see what sort of information is contained within, we’re going to post this on our website too

All weekend draws and information can be found by clicking here – this page is updated each week.

We’re sure you’ll all agree that it was great to be back on court – and there was a great community feel at Cowles on our Opening Weekend, with quite a few people making their way down to watch (we were well over the 100 person mark, so was great to not have to manage admission!)

Two hiccups we are aware of:

  • the Cowles heating did not turn on at 5:30am Saturday morning as planned (we’ve been assured this is sorted for next weekend now)
  • and the Miles Toyota Men’s Premier games did not automatically get their videos on Glory League (due to a conflict with using FIBA Live Stats to score them) – this is also solved, and the videos are all encoded and accessible now

Please do make sure all of your players and staff members know all of the venues we use will utilise the Government’s “NZ COVID Tracer” App’s QR codes – so it is advisable to have this installed on your iPhone or Android phone: https://tracing.covid19.govt.nz/

The draw gets a whole lot tougher to do from the following Saturday onwards – with the Women’s Premier, Boys’ U13, and Girls’ U15 grades all tipping off on June 27/28 (and remember June 20 is the final Saturday with Grading Games – in the MU20; BU17 and BU15 competitions). We’ll be playing 73 games each Saturday and Sunday (split 58 and 15 respectively), which is quite a substantial increase from the 24 games completed the past weekend!
