Playoff Eligibility and Start Dates – Competitions’ playoffs start at different dates. To be eligible to compete in any playoff games, a player needs to be “Playoff Eligible”, which is normally four games (but can have one game credited if they are a long-term member of that club). If a player is “playoff eligible” at the grade directly below, they are automatically eligible in the higher grade (i.e. a M23 player who has played four games, can play in the MP playoffs if needed). Players eligible at the higher grade are not automatically eligible below though. Here is the date the playoffs start for each grade
Premier (Men and Women): 8 August
Men’s 23A: 1 August
French Cup: 8 August
Men’s 20 Division One: 15 August
Men’s 20 Division Two: 8 August
Boys’ 17A: 15 August
Boys’ 17S: 8 August (for teams that are in the playoffs)
Girls’ 16A: 1 August
Boys’ 15A: 1 August
Boys’ 15S: 8 August (for teams that are in the playoffs)
Boys’ 13: 15 August
Girls’ 13: 15 August
Men’s Division One: 16 August
Women’s Division One: 9 August
When is the Last Saturday For Most Teams? – Senior teams (M20 and above) will normally finish their season on 8 August, if they are not in the playoffs. Junior teams will finish on 15 August. Check the format document to see the exact way each grade will conclude. Some grades have an uneven number of teams, in which case there will be a team with a bye on the final week (therefore that team finishes a week ahead – I will try and identify those teams well before they play what could be their last game)
When is Finals Weekend? – Saturday 22 August and Sunday 23 August are the last days for our club competitions, when all our Grand Finals are played
Rams Playoff Tickets – The Rams finished the regular season in style, to qualify second for the playoffs, and the right to host a home semi-final! We expect the atmosphere to be electric at 6pm on Sunday Night (2 August). Tickets can be purchased now in what could be their final home game of the season
