2024 Finals Week Draft

The August 17-18 Draw done is mainly done now (you can see the parts highlighted in aqua that need adding in – which is all of Sunday at this stage!). Again, this is a draft, so there may be some minor changes needed too.

Club Playoffs – Remember to make sure your players are eligible to compete if your team(s), have qualified for playoffs. In general – the playoff section of a grade is shaded grey on the format document, and players need to have played in four games for that team, or receive eligibility (detailed in section 6.7 of our Competition Rules)
MVP and First Team Votes – Thank you to everyone who has already sent their votes in. Junior Grade Votes are due August 8 (to have enough time to organise everything before the 24^th!)

17-18 August – We have a number of games to add following the end of play this weekend, so will get the completed draw to you as soon as possible
Finals Week Draft – This is very much a draft at this stage, but gives you a chance to see when we are hoping to be able to have each grade play their last games
Last Games – Reminder that August 17/18 will be the last week of games for most of our teams (unless qualified for Junior Grand Finals, or Senior Semi-finals). Teams will be advised directly that will finish on a different date due to a bye/format
Why We Play – as the season winds down for teams, make sure you help make your team aware of why they play, and enjoy the last games of the season. We know the teams in playoffs will likely have a more tense final game than the most other teams, so hope those games are enjoyable as well for you and your team
