This upcoming weekend is another one with all grades playing, with the 23/24 May having reduced games due to the unavailability of CCC venues (B15U and 13U grades are scheduled off), with our traditional break for all club basketball over King’s Birthday
Sub Grades – We have moved ten teams in the Boys’ 15U sub-grade to try and have as many competitive games in this competition, with these changes taking place on 16 May where possible, or when this grade restarts (6 June). We will be looking at the 17U grade next, with changes to be in place for 6 June
6 June Draw – We are planning to get this to you early next week (pending the amount of movement within the B17U sub-grade)
Scorebench Duty – when assigned to duty before playing, please have the appointed people arrive ten minutes before the game is scheduled to tip, so the Floor Controllers can keep the day running to time. When on duty, please do the best job you can – we know it is appreciated by the playing teams (and referees) when everything goes smoothly. If you have people unsure what scorebench requires, we have very short explanation videos on our website
Score Discrepancies – there have not been many queries get through to us (in comparison to previous years at least!), but if there is a query about the official score of the game (or fouls), we have a procedure to follow (to ensure there are not mistakes being made while trying to get a resolution). The procedure is detailed in the documents section of our website
