Scorebench Discrepancies – this past week we have had a number of games with the official score not matching what the points which the referees have signaled (luckily these games were not close). We do have a procedure to follow when there is a score or foul discrepancy , which is accessible in our document section, for you to follow should something occur in your game
King’s Birthday – remember we have no club games scheduled for this weekend, but the BBNZ Footlocker U20 National Championship is being held in Tauranga
Matariki – this is a normal weekend for winter club basketball
Zero Tolerance – now that we’re about a third of the way through the season, this is a great time for you all to make sure your coaches, players, and supporters all understand our Zero Tolerance Policy for our least experienced referees (normally assigned to our 16U, 15U and 13U grades especially)
June Draws – Expect to have drafts for the other two June, and July 5, weekend draws next week
