Canterbury Basketball is seeking applications for an appointed member to join our Board
Basketball is one of the fastest growing sports in New Zealand, and is the most popular high school sport in Canterbury. The Canterbury Basketball Association is at the forefront of many exciting innovations in the sport.
Board Members are appointed or elected for three year terms, and can serve for a maximum of two consecutive terms.
The CBA Board is comprised of seven members, and following the 2026 AGM, is now recruiting for an appointed board member to join the CBA board.
The Board are ideally looking for someone with accountancy and governance experience and preferably with a Club and our School basketball background.
