10-11 May Draw 2025

17-18 May Draw 2025

24-25 May Draw 2025

Notes for this Week:

  • St. Bede’s Gala Day – 3 May has a whole lot of events happening at SBC, so if playing there, please allow extra time to park and walk to the gym
  • LU Plays of the Week – If you have something worthy of consideration for the weekly highlight clips, please send james@canterbury.basketball the video (or all the necessary info if captured on Glory League), and if judged worthy, will be included!

  • GameDay Appthis is the easiest way to tell your team members to find when a team is playing (and results). Each venue should have the correct geo-location included in the app too. A few hints to find the team you are after:
    • Hit the “Shirt” logo (teams) at the bottom of the app, then “Magnifying Glass” logo (search)
    • Select “Leagues” and search for “Canterbury”
    • Select Canterbury Basketball
    • Change the season to “2025” if it does not already default to this
    • Select the competition the team you want to follow is in, then find the team, and “Star” (favourite) it
  • BBNZ Levy Reminder – A reminder that there is only a one-week grace period for players who have not registered. More info on the levy can be found here
  • Scorebench Duty Reminder – To help make the newcomers to the sport as confident as possible prior to the start of the game, please assign specific people to scorebench, and share the resources and guides on this page (including the videos): Scorebench Guides – Canterbury Basketball
  • Team Ref – More info is on our website about this programme, which has been implemented to help better protect referees, and retain them in our competitions
