The Weekend draws can be found on this page throughout the season. 7-8 August Draw

Notes for this week:

  • Classification/Friendly games – For all U17 grades and below we will try and schedule a game for your team on 14/15 August to finish off your season. This is dependent upon other teams being keen, and gym-space availability
  • This is the final regular season game scheduled for the following teams, so the end of the season if we cannot schedule a game next weekend
    • MU23 – Loser of Pioneer Young bucks and Wolverines
    • BU17 U/M – North Canterbury and Celebration Lions – playoff teams that will play on August 14, and points: Papanui Green (13); Gators Red (16); STC (15); Rangiora (17)
    • BU17 L/M – Gators White and Christ’s White; Spartans B/Burnside Green; plus loser of StAC/Hagley
    • BU17 D – all teams EXCEPT the top two teams in Pool C and D (CBHS Blue cannot qualify in Pool C, so will definitely finish on the 7th, along with Gators Green Development, Pioneer Yellow, Te Poi Rangatahi and Burnside White)
    • GU16 – All teams that lose on 8 August will be eliminated
    • BU15 A – Loser of STC Saints/Rangiora; Loser of Christ’s Black/St. Bede’s A; Papanui Green; CBHS A; Burnside Black and Celebration Lions Purple
    • BU15 U/M – MG Gators; Selwyn Hawks Blue; Cashmere 9A; Pioneer Blue; Riccarton Gators; Hillmorton Tiger Gators; SBC Black; CBHS A; Shirley Spartans B. Either Gators Red or Cashmere Gold will join StAC. Kaiapoi and Rolleston in the playoffs.
    • BU15 L/M – Loser of Selwyn Hawks Red and Christ’s Grey; Celebration Lions Gold; Christ’s White; Burnside Green; CBHS Blue; CBHS Black (STC Blue; Burnside White; NC White have all qualified for SF round)
    • BU15 D – Loser of Selwyn Hawks Blue Development and NC Black; Loser of CBHS White and SBC Red; Pioneer Yellow; Selwyn Hawks Red Development; Cashmere 9B; SBC White (Celebration Lions White and Gators White are both already in the SF round)
    • Boys’ U13 – NC Tigers; NC Lions; NC Pumas
    • Boys’ U13 D – Cowles Red and Selwyn Hawks Blue
    • Girls’ U13 – All teams that lose on 8 August will be eliminated

  • First Team Votes – if your team plays in the A grade of your respective age-group, could you please email me your votes for who you thin should be recognised from the grade (these must be nominees from other teams apart from your own):
    • First
    • Second
    • Third
  • Referees – if you can help fill any spots, please contact Jozsef (027 526 1753) and he can try and assign you to a game this weekend

Lastly – a big thank you to Darrel who is finishing up his Floor Controller role at the YMCA tomorrow (but only for this season) – he should be back to be involved at Club Finals Days later this month though 😊
