Want to know where tonight’s games are (and if we picked your team to win) – look no further!

Week One of the High School season tips off tonight, with 19 games across 13 different venues in Canterbury taking place.

The following High Schools will have two games (5:15pm and 7:00pm):

  • Hagley College vs Ellesmere girls (first) and boys (second)
  • Hillmorton vs St. Margaret’s, then Rolleston boys
  • Kaiapoi vs Riccarton girls and Cathedral’s boys in their first official home games in their new gym
  • Rangiora vs Rangi Ruru then St. Bede’s (Our Thomson Trophy Game of the Week)
  • Middleton Grange vs Avonside, then their regular week one match-up vs Cashmere’s Thomson Trophy team
  • St. Andrew’s vs Christchurch Girls’ and then Boys’ (Our Whelan Trophy Game of the Week)

High Schools with one game at 5:15pm:

  • Linwood College hosting Te Pā o Rākaihautū (on the old Avonside site) in a Thomson Trophy game
  • Rangiora New Life hosting Burnside’s Whelan team
  • St. Thomas facing the visiting Spartans from Shirley
  • Villa Maria will play the girls from Lincoln

At 7pm the following games are scheduled to tip:

  • Christ’s College hosting Riccarton’s
  • Hornby boys playing Lincoln
  • Ashburton vs Burnside boys (at the BBMC stadium on Oxford street
