Weekend Draw Info For 3-4 August

Here is the info that was emailed to all coaches and  club contacts earlier this week:

  • Sideline Behaviour – we have started getting far more reports about inappropriate behaviour from spectators directed towards referees. This is especially prevalent in the U17, U15 and U13 levels. All clubs with teams in these grades – please send a reminder to all of your parents about their responsibilities too. The BBNZ “Be a Great Supporter” campaign is ideal for this:
  • U13 Rep Trials – the Rep program will be running trials for these age-groups this Sunday. Any kids who are 10, 11 or 12 on December 31 are eligible to trial for our Rep teams. There will be a local development tournament held in Christchurch (September  28-29), and one in Ashburton for the stronger teams (October 9-12). Click here for: Boys’ Trial Info; Girls’ Trial Info
  • Playing uniform – please ensure your club teams are wearing consistent uniform. If there is a temporary need for an exemption please email me with the reason, time length and proposed short-term uniform.
  • 74 Games – This is the last weekend for the season where we will have all 74 games being scheduled to be played! There are no Miles Toyota Premier League Games, or Men’s U23 games on August 10th. The 17th will be playoff mode for all of our Junior Grades (with Junior Finals Day on Saturday August 24 – including Sunday Junior Grades!)
