Expression of Interest: Men’s Head Coach for TUPU League - Canterbury Basketball Canterbury Basketball

Canterbury Basketball Association is seeking a dedicated Head Coach for the 2024 Men’s TUPU League season.

The purpose of the Tupu League is to provide a competitive national experience for players who no longer have representative basketball opportunities.

Key Dates for the Men’s Tournament:

Mainlands Zone Qualifiers: September 16 – October 25, 2024
National Finals: November 14-16, 2024, at the Edgar Centre, Dunedin

Role Overview:

Pre-Season: Collaborate with Head of Programme to design and implement a build-up schedule that ensures team readiness for the qualifiers and finals.
In-Season: Develop game strategies, manage player performance, and lead the team through the buildup and competition.

Should the team qualify for the national tournament, there will be a stipend provided to the head coach.
