U14 Trial Registrations Open for Registration

For all Canterbury Zone players born 2011, 2012 2013.

For all Canterbury zone (live or school between the Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers) players born 2011, 2012 2013, who have NOT played for another association in 2023.

Canterbury Basketball Associations’s 2024 U14 Regional Development Programme is open for registration.

Of special note for the 2024 programme is that all players registering for trials will be selected for one of two programmes:

  1. For the 3X3 development programme, or
  2. For the regional development programme (RDP) to travel to the regional tournament October 9-12th in Ashburton.

Players must commit to participating in either programme if they wish to register for trials.

Because of this, all players will be charged $80 on registration – the complete fee for the 3X3 programme. Players who are selected for the RDP will be invoiced an additional $300 for the remaining cost of the RDP.

Trial 1 – August 25th at Selwyn Sports Center:

  • GIRLS 2011/2012/2013 – 930am (Check-in). Trial: 10am to 1130am
  • BOYS Born 2012/2013 ONLY – 11am (Check-in). Trial: 1130am to 130pm
  • BOYS Born 2011 Only – 1pm (Check-in). Trial: 130pm to 330pm

Trial 2 (call backs) – September 1st at Selwyn Sports Center

  • GIRLS  2011/2012/2013 1130am (Check-in). Trial: 12 to 130pm
  • BOYS 2011/2012/2013 1pm (Check-in). Trial: 130pm to 330pm
